Lexington Hotels Care

Plan USAThe Lexington Collection is the Premier Coporate Partner of Plan USA. In 2007, Lexington announced its partnership with Plan USA to promote education for our children in the developing world. Various properties are working with us to make a positive difference for children and families in need.

Steve Belmonte, CEO & President, Partner of The Lexington Collection, began sponsoring children in the 1980s. Since then, he has brought his passion for corporate philanthropy to the culture of The Lexington Collection.

Many Lexington hotels worldwide display Plan USA brochures in their lobbies and guest rooms. The properties have also been actively engaged in promoting their Dollar A Day program to their guests. Dollar A Day program

As the Founding Corporate Sponsor of Plan USA, the oldest and largest international children's humanitarian organization, the Lexington Collection has made it their mission to help the neediest children in the poorest countries of the world.

Plan USAThe Dollar A Day program is designed to help with the construction of schools for children of all ages - from pre-school through secondary school. The schools will be equipped with sanitary latrines and water pumping station to provide clean drinking water - a rarity in these villages. The program will also provide much needed school supplies including textbooks and writing materials.

Guests that would like to participate in the Dollar A Day program, a program that keeps hope alive for the world's neediest children, can inform the front desk staff of the Lexington hotel where they are staying that you would like to add a dollar to your bill for each day of their stay. Lexington will then donate 100% of each dollar raised to Plan USA to support education projects.
